Dean Torey+ | | | Annual Parish Meeting & Potluck Breakfast: Sunday, February 1, 9:30 a.m., All Saints Hall: Election of new vestry members, Endowment Trustees and Convention Delegates; presentation of the 2026 budget; and report on the state of the parish by Dean Lightcap. Forward Day by Day: The new issue of Forward Day by Day covering February through April is now available on the table in the west transept. Suggested donation is $1. February Senior Saints luncheon on Wednesday, February 11: Social time begins at 11 a.m., with lunch at 11:30 ($10 per person). Betsy McGuire will be the guest speaker, and will talk about her book and the inspiration behind it including the topics of knitting, Shakespeare, and the history of medieval guilds. Save The Date for a Centering Prayer Workshop: Saturday, February 21 from 12:30-4:00 in the Robyn Room. Centering Prayer is a "prayer of the heart", a form of receptive silence to God's presence and transforming work in us. It is a deepening of one's open and loving relationship with the Lord, with oneself and with others. The workshop will address aspects of Centering Prayer that one might leave with confident understanding. Donation is optional to cover handouts and snacks. Sharing Table Donations: Thank you to everyone who is supplying the necessary, daily items that most of us take for granted. Please know that your gifts, which we distribute each first Saturday, are helping our neighbors in need. They are so thankful for your generosity. Current needs include: lotion, reusable bags, wipes, tampons, bandaids, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, chapstick, razors, shaving cream, and bar soap. No clothing donations, please.
