Henry,

Keep in mind that these properties are exempt so we do not spend as much time on them but this is what we have –

Land is $4.00 per square foot.

The building values we have are as follows:

Old Fire Station $28,610 (Total with the land is $260,900)

Heritage Hall      $803,790

Ag Hall                  $1,222,060

Maner                  $2,874,740

Land value for these sections less the fire station parcel would be an additional $1,579,800

I wasn’t sure how you wanted to divide up the land for these parcels so you can divide how you want to and use the $4.00 per square foot.

Total for your highlighted area would be $6,741,290 Appraised.  Assessed value if taxable would be 25% of that.

Using 2022 mill levy with these values would indicate a total tax of approximately $260,600

Our website and property record card shows each building individually.

Good luck and let me know if you need anything else,

Steve

After completion of construction last spring, the Kansas State University's Marching Band 'The Pride of the Wildcats' has had a chance to settle into their new home and are ready to cheer on the Cats this fall. When it was time for them to find a permanent home on campus, we were honored to collaborate and design a place The KSU Marching Band could call their own.

The Villages, Inc. was founded by Dr. Karl Menninger in 1964 with their first home opening in the winter of 1969. Menninger's strong principles of healing for those who had been abused, neglected, and abandoned, became the foundation and model for The Villages, Inc. This model believed in the benefits that abandoned and abused children would gain by living in a well-maintained home, in a setting with strong, supportive, and nurturing parents who live with them. Currently, The Villages have five homes located on the Topeka campus that children live and study within.

I glanced at it - - didnt see where to get financials -- I wonder if they have it buried and one would have to file a freedom of information request with the county.  If they are truly a non profit and also/or part of the government -- the financials including how much they pay in salaries/overhead etc has to be public information somewhere -- (I think) -- A non profit like Pheasants forever has their tax forms online that spell out all of this information -- after reviewing that I lost faith in them as an organization --  Most non profits do very little imo.

How does it cost 3-5 million to build a maintenance shop?  This is exactly what in the world is wrong with our local government and why the city doesnt have anything nice.

To much area is turned into a park and not enough is put into infrastructure.

Taking the funding away from the Elevated parkway claiming no one is interested in it -- I think that's a load of bull I'd bet.
