John Kollhoff, a father of 3, also serves as the Abilene City Commission Vice-Mayor of the City of Abilene Kansas. John attended The University of Kansas and fully accomplished his Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm, D.) in 2005. John and Sue are the owners of Valley Falls Pharmacy and Kollhoff Pharmacy in Valley Falls KS and Junction City KS respectively. In addition, the husband-and-wife team are also the developers and operators of Sola Salon Studios located in Topeka KS., that started in late 2017. In addition, Mr. Kollhoff is also the co-owner of 7 Brew Coffee in Topeka KS that started in 2021.

John Kollhoff currently holds
the position of Abilene City Commission Vice-Mayor as he took over after former
City Vice-Mayor Trevor Witt replaced former City Mayor Dee Marshall on January
9, 2023. Upon his appointment, Vice-Mayor Kollhoff began his tenure in the beginning
of 2022 where he served as City Commissioner of Abilene City KS.
