The Joint Economic Development Organization (JEDO) is a collaborative effort between Shawnee County and the City of Topeka, Kansas, established in 2001 to promote economic development. It is governed by a 13-member board, with voting members including the three Shawnee County Commissioners, the City of Topeka Mayor, Deputy Mayor, and two City Council members, while the remaining six Council members are non-voting.
