Subject: Re: HuntoonThere was a public meeting at the library last night. It was mentioned at a council meeting, it was posted to the public, it was on social media and I believe I even saw it mentioned on one of the TV stations. The meeting appeared to have well over 100 people (if not more during two hours), who attended and were able to look at drawings and plans and speak with city staff and others about the designs. I believe notices were also sent out to the people who live in the area and businesses that will be impacted.
This was a public input session to get feedback and answer questions before anything is officially presented to the Governing Body, and people certainly turned out with questions. comments and suggestions. And yes, they had a presentation and drawings and designs, all made available to the public in a public space after being publicly advertised.
Is this the meeting you are asking about?
While I believe you may be close on the contract expense, I would ask staff to provide the actual number. I voted NO on that contract.
Thank you,
Spencer

Please confirm that the project engineer for the Huntoon Project has been released and is working on drawings.
As I remember, Bartlett and West got a $3.5 million contract.

If this is so, what was the meeting about?

Today's buyers don't want to be sold to. They want to be understood. That's why companies like Netflix are winning—not because of flashy content, but because they predict what their audience needs before they ask for it. That's the kind of anticipation today's customers expect from every brand. At our 2025 Future of Marketing Summit, we'll dive into how the best marketers are using AI, data, and creativity to stay one step ahead of consumer behavior—and their competition. The virtual summit will be broadcasted LIVE on September 23, 24, 25, and 26. Here's a summary of what to expect:
