Dear Friends from Shawnee County and the area,Today is Election day and I would like to encourage you to vote in local races.The 2 candidates I am most focused on are Earl McIntosh (City Council District 7) and Lisa Schmidt (Topeka School Board district 501). I have had the pleasure of spending some time with them during this cycle and I truly believe they are the most capable candidates for those seats. Please vote for them if they are on your ballot, research them if you want to decide for yourself, and forward this message to others who can vote.Below is the list of Republicans in races today. I am Republican because I am Pro-life (particularly that of unborn children), Pro-Freedom (Speech, Assembly & Worship), and support limitations to Government - particularly taxation.
