2024-2025 Travel Opportunities

2024 April:  England and Wales

The trip departing in April for England and Wales is sold out.  I'll be happy to add your name to our waitlist in the event we have a cancelation.

2024 September:  Egypt

We are "all systems go" for our September trip to Egypt.  Our travel agents will be going to Egypt in a couple of weeks to meet with the tour operator and gather more information.  The trip is sold out; however, due to concern about political unrest in the region, I suspect a few passengers may cancel.  If/when we have cancelations, I will contact people on the waitlist.  If you want me to add your name, please let me know.

2025 January:  Mexico

This year marked the 10th anniversary of our annual winter trip to Mexico.  Barring any unforeseen drastic increase in pricing, our plan is to return to the 5-star Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres Resort next January.  Trip details won't be finalized until sometime in July.  If you want me to send you the details when they're available, please let me know.

2025 April:  Panama Canal

Set sail on Oceania's luxurious Sirena for a 10-night cruise with a daylight passage through the Panama Canal.  Cruise begins in Panama City and ends in Miami.  Pricing begins at $3,699 per person and includes roundtrip airfare, cruise and more.  Go online to see detailed information and online registration.

2025 Fall:  To Be Determined

The world is a big place and we're exploring options for our fall 2025 travel destination.  I'm always eager to hear where our travelers want to go.  If you have a destination(s) on your bucket list, let me know.

As you may be aware, travel with the Washburn Alumni Association is a benefit of being a dues-paid member.  All travelers must be members.  Membership is open to the public; simply join online.  Feel free to share our trip information with family and friends.

Group travel with the Alumni Association is lots of fun and a great way to meet new people.  I accompany the group, and typically a representative from the travel agncy does, too.  Leave the planning to us, sit back, relax and enjoy the trip.

Our trips typically sell out.  Avoid disappointment by signing up sooner rather than later.  Details about our trips are posted on the Alumni Association and Foundation website at:  wualumni.org/alumni-travel and are advertised in The Ichabod alumni magazine.

Please let me know if you have questions.  Thank you.
