Bring Back the Boulevard is a group of private business owners who have banded together to make some improvements on the Boulevard including the new sign down by Frito Lay
They approached us to partner on the upcoming Project on Topeka 21st to 29th . Within our existing scope and fee of the design contract we were able to come up with some concept plans so they can raise the funding for improvements such as planting and flags that are outside of the scope of our construction budget. I have attached the email with the concept plans and cost estimates If they can raise money we will enter into a development agreement with them and will include the items in the project and then they will pay for those items.
The only other thing I am aware of is public works agreed to provide the electricity for the lighting for the new sign down by Frito Lay—emails attached
They periodically make requests for other help. Utilities said no to the meter and we did now mow for them this past year—emails attached

Henry:
This is in response to your email resubmitting your request. Please be advised that the documents and correspondence that you have requested are not public records. The definition of "public record" in K.S.A. 45-217(l)(3) does not include "records that are made, maintained or kept by an individual who is a member . . . of the governing body of any political or taxing subdivision of the state." Any records that would be responsive to your request were made, maintained or kept by Mayor Padilla, who is a member of the City of Topeka's governing body. As a result, such records are not subject to the Kansas Open Records Act and there is no obligation on the City to produce them. The City declines to do so.

For the record - voice recognition and no glasses are my best excuse for lack of proof reading mt email (thanks Tyler)
Can we add the travelers demo job to tonight's JEDO agenda?.
How does as a citizen of Shawnee county address a JEDO meeting directly and not have to go through your contractor.
Please review the interlocal agreement
