A sad situation, but ANOTHER hasn't paid taxes at Lauren's Bay for 9 or 10 year's...WOW! That amount is a more SIGNIFICANT amount owed too. When is SOMEONE going to RECTIFY that mess??? If the "ELECTED", paid employee's lack doing the duty of their position, they need fired or resign.

Apparently, we're existing with two sets of rules in Topeka, KS

How long though has the guy at Lauren's Bay been OVERLOOKED on what's owed on empty lots??? Oh yeah, 9 or 10 year's hmmm. Sounds like "2 sets of rules" to follow and people ALLOWING this are part of the problem as well.

I wonder how many other's are ALLOWED this kind of "special" treatment? Maybe the one's who pay the "high priced" membership dues to the Greater Topeka Partnership. It has been an eye opening experience to see the amounts of money given to the "pick and choose" businesses that Go Topeka deems APPROPRIATE, based on their rules.

I TRULY hope the citizen's of this community remember it took a vote from us on the 1/2 cent sales tax to then not be ALLOWED a say in ANYTHING Go Topeka does. While our city continues to crumble away, rest assured THEY'RE sleeping well and eating well.

If you want change, VOTE for Henry McClure County Commissioner 2nd District and Brett Blackburn County Commissioner 3rd District. These two are about equality and hearing and listening to the citizen's. What's been in place for to long is now stagnate and time to replace with people who can bring back life to Topeka.

The article below is about Heartland Motorsports Park...sadness. I remember watching Shirley Muldowney, John Force and so many other's at that track. A footprint of joy has now been taken away. Time for a HUGE change of leadership in this town.
