Henry,
This was forwarded to me for response on behalf of the City and JEDO. Neither the City nor JEDO has any responsive records regarding the GO Topeka board vote that you reference. I will defer to Stephanie Moran regarding whether GO Topeka has anything responsive.
While your request is focused on records of the GO Topeka vote related to the Innovation Center, the only related record that the City and/or JEDO has is the minutes from the JEDO meeting where JEDO voted to approve the GO Topeka recommendation. While the GO Topeka board makes recommendations to JEDO, these must be approved by JEDO before funds are expended. The Innovation Center was discussed and voted on at the Dec. 11, 2024 JEDO meeting. Please see the attached agenda packet, starting at page 3.
Thanks,
Mary E. Kuckelman Spinelli

I want to know how each one of the Go Topeka Board members voted to give Cody Foster $9,500,000 of sales tax. Don't we deserve to know who is really running JEDO?

The vote count for the Go Topeka Board was listed as a percentage.
I want a roll call.
I want each name and how they voted.
We deserve transparency.

Subject: KORA Request for Voter Count and Details on $9.5 Million ATT Building Allocation
Under the Kansas Open Records Act (KORA), I am requesting the specific voter count and detailed information regarding the individuals who voted on the allocation of $9.5 million for the ATT building at the Go Topeka meeting held prior to the December JEDO meeting. While a percentage breakdown of the vote has been provided, the public is entitled to transparency regarding the individual voting records and how each member voted on this matter.
Please provide the requested information in accordance with KORA requirements. Thank you for your attention to this request.
