On behalf of the Hi-Crest Neighborhood Improvement Association (NIA), I would like to invite you to participate in our upcoming Candidate Forum for the 2025 Topeka City Council elections. This forum will feature candidates in the following races:

• Mayor

• City Council District 3

• City Council District 5

📅 Wednesday, October 22, 2025
🕕 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.
📍 Avondale East Care Center

Format:

• Each candidate will have 3 minutes for an opening statement.

• A moderated Q&A session will follow, with questions applying to all candidates. Each candidate will have 90 seconds to respond.

• The moderator will rotate the order of responses to ensure fairness.

• A brief audience Q&A segment will be included. 

• Each candidate will have 2 minutes for closing remarks.

Our moderator for the evening will be Danielle Twemlow.
