freedom

As a Republican real estate broker with 45 years of experience, I'd tell libertarians to vote for me because I understand the value of property rights, free markets, and limited government interference—core principles you hold dear. My decades in real estate have shown me how overregulation and bureaucratic red tape stifle opportunity, drive up costs, and limit individual freedom. I'll fight for lower taxes, fewer zoning restrictions, and policies that let markets, not government, dictate outcomes. My track record proves I'm not just talk—I've navigated complex markets, defended property owners' rights, and built wealth through hard work, not handouts. You want someone who gets that your freedom to live and prosper shouldn't be choked by government overreach. That's me.

Location for next zoning meeting

Hi Henry,

Here's the location for the next zoning meeting:

The Planning Commission's subcommittee - "Standard for Housing Committee" members as of February 17, 2025, minutes are Jim Kaup, Del-Metrius Herron, Katy Nelson, Willie Brooks.  A search of COT/Topeka Speaks indicates the sub-committee meetings are not listed on the calendar, and no minutes from any meetings by the sub-committee were located for public review.

Westboro has invited neighbors to a meeting on SUNDAY AUGUST 3, 2025, 3:30pm at St. David's Episcopal Church, 3916 SW 17th Avenue.   Please join in the continued discussion about proposed zoning changes to R1/R2 neighborhoods!

As of this email - there is no agenda available for the Planning Commission meeting Monday August 18, 2025, 6:00pm meeting, however the representatives from the City of Topeka at the meeting July 31, 2025, indicated the proposed zoning change to R1/R2 neighborhoods would be a "discussion" item. If you can appear in person - that would be great, if not - please share your concerns at Topeka Speaks. We must continue to voice our concerns to both the planning commission and the city council!

Please share this information with family, friends and neighbors!

Thanks so much & have a fabulous weekend,

Thanks,

-Tyler

Happy Friday everyone! I wanted to reach out to see if any of you will be holding election night watch parties that The Capital-Journal staff can photograph and or cover. We are prepping for primary day coverage. Feel free to shoot me an email between now and the end of the day Monday with that information. Enjoy your weekends!
