Dear Friend,

Every day, we seem to learn more about the agenda of the anti-American Left, along with its media and Big Tech allies, to suppress conservative speech and political activity and push their false and dishonest narratives about American history and current events.

That's why Imprimis—Hillsdale's digest of liberty—has become a critical counterpoint to the arguments and narratives found in the mainstream media. Over 6.7 million households and businesses currently receive Imprimis digitally or through the mail free of charge.

While the legacy media and their Big Tech allies suppress conservative or traditionally moral viewpoints, Imprimis celebrates America's great heritage of liberty by addressing the issues of the day from a constitutional perspective.

Today, I'd like to invite you to celebrate free speech with us by forwarding Imprimis to a family member or a friend.

In doing so, you'll play an important role in promoting constitutional principles and practices at a time of great crisis for our country.

In American schools and universities, we have seen the tyranny of "political correctness" rising for decades—and as a result, a large percentage of young Americans today support the idea of regulating or prohibiting speech.

Meanwhile, attempts to suppress open political debate in our country have moved from the shadows of the Internet as controlled by Big Tech moguls into the light of day, especially through the use of a politicized justice system that spurns the idea of the rule of law.

The crisis we face in America is the bitter fruit of a decades-long anti-American educational agenda that has destroyed reverence for our constitutional rights...including our essential First Amendment rights.

This means Imprimis—which is dedicated to educating citizens and promoting civil and religious liberty—is more important than ever.

So, today, I ask you to join Hillsdale in our mission to reach millions in defense of our constitutional liberties—including our First Amendment rights.

To promote Imprimis and defend free speech, I encourage you to forward an Imprimis issue to a family member or a friend—and even encourage them to sign up for their own FREE subscription.

You can do so at this secure link here:

https://lp.hillsdale.edu/imprimis-referral/

Thank you for your support of Hillsdale's educational mission on behalf of liberty.

Warm regards,

Larry P. Arnn

President, Hillsdale College

We put FARM back in the Farm Bill

Republicans' Farm Bill Framework is an excellent proposal that puts 'Farm' back in the Farm Bill.

Our proposal:

  • Does not force farmers to choose between crop insurance and Title One funding while providing farmers with increased coverage levels for crop insurance.
  • Increases the reference prices for ARC and PLC to ensure those programs actually help full-time farmers.
  • Removes Biden's climate guardrails on conservation funding to allow the real conservationists, our farmers and ranchers, to make decisions that best fit their farms.
  • Bolsters rural broadband funding and improves access to rural health care and childcare.
  • Promotes trade access
  • Doubles agricultural research funding, a huge success for Kansas State and our state's research universities like Fort Hays, Wichita State, and Kansas community colleges.
  • Enhances the integrity and oversight of the nutrition title to ensure these dollars are allocated to the communities who need it most, with zero cuts to SNAP benefits.

I discussed the Republican Farm Bill Framework with WIBW and RFD-TV! You may click the image above to watch my WIBW clip, or below to watch my full interview with RFD-TV.

You may click HERE to read an overview of the key priorities of the framework.

Additionally, Kansans are encouraged to take my Farm Bill Survey on my website to communicate your priorities in the Farm Bill. You may click HERE to take the survey.

Inflation is a direct result of Joe Biden's policies.

This week, we received new inflation numbers and it couldn't be more clear that Americans cannot afford four more years of Joe Biden at the helm. Since Joe Biden took office, prices have risen by over 20%, with gasoline up 55%, and groceries up by over 21%. Bidenflation is costing the average Kansan family an extra $1,085 per month just to afford basic necessities like groceries and gas, totaling to over $13,000 per year.

Joe Biden's out of control spending that has created the worst economy in my professional lifetime and continues to push the American dream further out of reach.

Kansans are paying more for just about everything because of inflation since Biden took office:

  • Gasoline, unleaded regular is UP 55%
  • Eggs are UP 40%
  • Electricity is UP 29%
  • Baby food is UP 28%
  • Butter is UP 27%
  • Bread is UP 24%
  • Poultry is UP 24%
  • Lunchmeats are UP 24%
  • Chicken is UP 24%
  • Groceries are UP 21%

I joined Newsmax to discuss the nationwide effects of Bidenflation. You may click HERE or on the image below to watch my full interview.

White House Executive Order Empowers the Cartels.

Joe Biden's border Executive Order is nothing but smoke and mirrors and has done nothing to secure the border. In fact, if anything it has provided a clearer road map for cartel exploitation.

A former Obama Administration DHS official said that if we have over 1,000 people crossing the southern border every day, we are overwhelmed. With Biden's border order, 2,500 are allowed per day. Our borders are beyond overwhelmed.

The cartels have taken control of our southern border, using it for their human trafficking and drug smuggling operations. This is not just a border crisis but a humanitarian crisis with tragic consequences. Joe Biden is doing nothing but enabling organized crime at our borders, allowing them to enter into our country and helping them get rich. I am demanding accountability from the President, with real solutions to secure our border and protect our nation.

Demanding Hold On Biden Nominees

What Democrats have done to weaponize the justice system against Donald Trump is one of the greatest miscarriages of justice we have ever seen.

Republicans must fight back against Biden's radical lawfare against President Trump. That is why, this week, my Senate conservative colleagues and I pledged to block all of Joe Biden's judicial and U.S. attorney nominees. This will stop the folks who will be sent to carry out the Biden Administration's weaponized two-tiered justice system. We will hold the line.

Good morning,

If you are receiving this email, it is because I have you marked down as attending our Candidate Forum on Thursday, June 13th.

As a reminder the program will begin at 4:30PM and conclude by 6:30PM, you are able to arrive as early as 3:45/4:00PM, please arrive no later than 4:20PM.

A few questions I have received from candidates:

  1. Are campaign staff allowed? Yes, they are allowed to attend, they will not be allowed to participate in the actual Q&A and will remain seated with attendees.
  2. Is material permitted? Campaign literature and signs are allowed in the back of the room we have a few tables reserved for this; limit pieces please do not bring a cart full.
  3. Are questions available beforehand? No, questions are not made available ahead of time.
  4. Will there be a post primary forum? No, there will be a post primary meet & greet in August.

What to Expect:

  1. Note pad, water and pen provided to you.
  2. There will be time for an opening statement 45 seconds before the Q&A.
  3. Q&A is rapid fire, which essentially means each question is asked of each candidate, and each candidate will have 30 seconds to reply.
  4. A closing statement should time allow will be permitted not to exceed 60 seconds.
  5. There will be a timekeeper in the front row and a buzzer when the time is up.
  6. We will begin with county commissioner seats then move into state house/senate.

Please note, if you are aware of a campaign that did not receive the initial email or thought they RSVP'd have them contact me by email immediately. We have gone back through all emails; however, I want to be sure no one is left out that had replied to participate or filed to run.

Kindly,
