Dining at City Hall Cantina — The $16 Million Hotel Special
Somebody in the kitchen at City Hall thought it'd be a great idea to serve up a "Luxury Hotel Taco" — a dish nobody ordered and few can afford. Backed by a sitting councilmember Spencer Duncan, this culinary catastrophe has already cost Topeka taxpayers over $16 million...Would you eat here again? That's what the incumbents on the City ballots are asking from you...
Didn't think so. Sorry Spencer. Let's close this kitchen and reopen under better management.
It's like ordering a $20 street taco that arrives cold, soggy, and wrapped in regret — and when you complain, the waiter just shrugs and says, "No refunds, amigo."
At this point, we're all stuck footing the check for a meal that should've never left the kitchen.
Potholes con Picante — The Crumbling Kitchen Floor
Meanwhile, the kitchen floor (aka our city streets) is so full of potholes that even the salsa is afraid to spill. Some of these potholes have been around so long we should throw them a quinceañera.
If your taquería let the tile crack, the grease pile up, and the tables wobble every time someone sneezed, you'd lose your customers in a heartbeat. But at City Hall Cantina, the same folks who caused the mess keep getting rehired as the "executive chefs."
Service Más Lento — When Leadership Disappears Mid-Order
Ever had a server vanish right after taking your order? That's Topeka's leadership when problems arise. Whether it's a missing-person emergency or a neighborhood issue, too often the response feels half-baked and microwaved.
Citizens deserve attentive service — not pre-written apologies with no seasoning.
Stale Menu, No Fresh Ingredients — Where's the Innovation?
The current kitchen staff keeps serving yesterday's leftovers. Same recipes, same bland ideas, same excuses.
But Topeka deserves better — a new chef who understands flavor, presentation, and value. Someone ready to spice things up with bold ideas, strong leadership, and accountability on the plate.
That's why I'm supporting Henry McClure — a proven developer who's already brought real businesses (and real flavor) to Topeka. He's not just promising a new menu; he's planning to rebuild the whole kitchen.
Don't Keep Eating What's Gone Bad

Voting for the same people who gave us overpriced, undercooked policies is like returning to a restaurant where you got food poisoning — twice.

City Hall Cantina's current leadership gets one lonely star — for showing up. The food is overpriced, the service is slow, and the "specials" cost taxpayers millions.
Topeka deserves better than stale tacos and pothole salsa. It's time to fire the chef, clean the kitchen, and hire a team that knows how to serve its customers with pride.
