For those of you who showed up for last weekend's Washburn Homecoming parade, I owe you a big THANK YOU.  We have received rave reviews from spectators along the route who were appreciative and complimentary of the parade.  I realize the chance of rain was problematic and under the circumstances some confirmed entries did not participate. Thankfully, the mist didn't hinder the parade, and it didn't start raining until after the parade concluded. 

 

I hope you found the parade to be well-organized; if you have any suggestions to make things run smoother, please don't hesitate to let me know.
