Greetings City of Topeka Attorney, Mayor, Police Chief, City Manager, Assistant City Manager, and City Council Members,
Attached is a KORA request seeking disclosure of the officer's identity involved in the shooting death of Dylan Walstrom, as well as a claim requesting reimbursement for expenses his mother, Carrie Bell, incurred to access and analyze the body camera footage to determine the accurate sequence of events of that tragic night.
In the interest of transparency and public accountability, members of the media, community advocates, and concerned residents of Topeka have been copied on this correspondence.
