John Hunter, Riverfront Advisory Council Taskforce Chair, and Kevin Holland, Chair-Elect, will provide an overview of the project's conceptual plan and discuss initial phases of development.  Public comment for the meeting will be available via Zoom or in-person. Individuals must contact the City Clerk's Office at 785-368-3940 or via email at cclerk@topeka.org by no later than 4:00 p.m. on the date of the meeting at which time the City Clerk's Office will provide Zoom link information and protocols prior to the meeting.   View the meeting online at https://www.topeka.org/communications/live-stream/ or at https://www.facebook.com/cityoftopeka/. The "Pre-Participation Physical Evaluation" form goes on to state that "In cases of disorder of sexual development (DSD), designation of sex at birth may be delayed for a period of time until medical providers and family can make the appropriate determination. Wyandotte Co. property owners providing hefty salaries for government employees The fallout continues across Kansas after state lawmakers failed to pass legislation limiting property tax increases. Wyandotte County and Kansas City, Kansas, are our latest examples of property tax increases funding eye-popping salaries and pay raises for government employees, some of which may result from additional overtime, payouts of unused sick or vacation leave, or working a partial year in 2023. Overland Park leaders eager to approve $250 million subsidy for Black & Veatch Overland Park-based Black & Veatch is asking the City of Overland Park for about $250 million in subsidies to help finance an ambitious $1.1 billion development at its Lamar Avenue campus. The engineering and construction firm plans a new 612,000 square foot headquarters, total office space of nearly one million square feet,1,884 residential units in a multi-family, townhomes, and condominiums mix, 5,500 square feet of retail space, a 160-room hotel, and nearly 6,000 structured parking spaces.
