Subject: Exposing the milk myth

Why do we drink cow's milk?

Think about it, what other mammal drinks another mammal's milk?

You don't see gorillas drinking zebra's milk, do you?

Why?

Simple. It's not natural.

And over the last few months I've uncovered a lot about dairy...

And how bad it is for us.

As you know, I've been a dad for a little over a year now.

With that said...

I'm very particular about what my daughter eats.

So when it came time to take her off breastmilk...

I researched into the healthiest options.

Now, growing up in the 90s, I've been conditioned to think cow's milk is the healthiest option.

Remember all the celebrity "Got Milk?" commercials?

Yep. Those commercials were supposed to make us think these celebrities and athletes achieved their success by drinking milk.

In fact, billions of dollars have been spent marketing milk.

And they've done a good job too.

If you didn't know better, you'd think milk was the only source of calcium on the planet.

And if you didn't drink milk...

You'd have weak bones and teeth.

Not true.

In reality, milk wreaks havoc on your gut health.

Truth be told, a good portion of the population doesn't have the enzymes needed to digest dairy.

The result?

Digestive problems galore.

Not only that, but diary has been linked to irritable bowel syndrome, acid reflux, and gut inflammation.

Even worse?

Pea, almond, and flaxseed milk have more calcium per cup than cow's milk.

I'll say that again.

Pea, almond, and flaxseed milk have more calcium than cow's milk.

The thing is...

These plant-based milks don't have the marketing budget.

It's just another example of how Big Businesses don't care about our health.

I mean, why else would they promote milk as an essential part of our diet...

Knowing 65% of the population can't drink it without destroying their gut?

And the worse part is...

Plant-based milks have more calcium without the side effects.

The truth is...

The more I uncover, the more I realize how our health doesn't matter.

Only money.

Just thought I'd let ya know.

Have a blessed day...
