Calling Out Biden-Harris Administration for Manipulated Jobs Report

In a desperate last-ditch effort to manipulate public perception of its failing economic record, the Biden-Harris Administration was caught red-handed cooking the books on job creation numbers in their latest reports. Last week, it was revealed that the Department of Labor (DOL) egregiously overestimated the number of new jobs created over the past year by a staggering 818,000 – the second-largest revision in DOL history.

Using taxpayer dollars to mislead the public in jobs reports for political gain is an outrageous betrayal of trust and one of the reasons Americans have lost all faith in this Administration. Manipulating the numbers to spin a false narrative while people are struggling to afford gas and groceries is not only dishonest—it's insulting.

The DOL needs to deliver a transparent explanation for its repeated revisions to jobs reports and ensure American citizens that it is not a corrupt tool for influencing the upcoming election. To get to the bottom of this, I led my colleagues in a letter this week demanding answers from the DOL on why it routinely comes nowhere close to getting the numbers right on job creation.

Every American who has suffered under the weight of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris' failed economic policies these past three years deserves better than this deceit. With the November election coming into focus and the economy being a major issue, American citizens deserve accurate information about the health of our economy.

Senator Marshall Joins Newsmax to Discuss Manipulated Jobs Report

I joined Newsmax to discuss our efforts to hold the Biden-Harris Administration accountable for manipulating job reports. High interest rates have made it impossible to buy a home, energy costs are through the roof, and Americans can't afford gas and groceries. The truth is our economy is much softer than Biden-Harris is letting on, and we aren't close to lowering interest rates if this administration continues playing politics with economic data.

Remembering American Heroes lost in Afghanistan Withdrawal

This week marks the 3rd anniversary of the Biden-Harris administration's disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan. Notably absent from the memorial ceremony were President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, refusing to acknowledge the 13 service members killed by their incompetent foreign policy decisions that left American soldiers abandoned behind enemy lines.

It is a disgrace that the President of the United States was vacationing instead of being with these Gold Star families who suffered immeasurable loss in one of the deadliest withdrawals in our nation's history. Kamala Harris, Democrat hopeful to take the throne in November, has repeatedly bragged about being one of the last people in the room when this deadly decision was made. I do not understand how this administration sleeps at night.

While Kamala and Joe refuse to acknowledge these American Heroes, we will continue their legacy and honor each Gold Star family. While Joe was out on vacation, President Trump attended the memorial at Arlington National Ceremony, standing with our Gold Star families - that's what a true leader looks like. My prayers are with our Gold Star families, and we will continue to honor these fallen soldiers and their families. We will never forget their sacrifice.

Sustainable Aviation Fuel Plant Breaks Ground in Kansas

Biofuels are an up-and-coming reliable energy source that is extremely versatile, including as sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). Our state is a leader in biofuel technology and production, and that reputation was further solidified this week with the groundbreaking ceremony for SAFFiRE Renewables' new pilot biofuel plant in Liberal, KS. I was honored to be on hand for this event where we discussed the benefits of sustainable aviation fuel and the obstacles preventing airlines from using this innovative energy source.

SAF is created by transforming corn stalks into ethanol, a cheaper and cleaner alternative to renewable fuel made specifically for aircraft. With corn plentiful in Kansas and across the Midwest, SAF has no better home than in Southwest Kansas. I am eager to see what SAF's continued development will do for the aviation industry, and look forward to the benefits SAF will have for our corn growers.
