You are receiving this email because you expressed interest in getting information on our Judicial Tax Foreclosure Auctions for Shawnee County.
PLEASE NOTE: THIS YEARS AUCTION WILL BE HELD VIA ONLINE AUCTION through CivicSource.com
1. All bidders must pre-register prior to the auction on the Counselor's Website:
Registration deadline is 5:00 P.M. two (2) days prior to any scheduled auction. The County reserves the right to refuse bids from anyone registering after this date. Registrations will not be accepted the day of the auction. You will receive a confirmation email within two (2) weeks after you register. You will NOT be able to bid if you do not receive the confirmation email. Call our office at (785) 251-4042 if you do not receive the confirmation email.

2. Bidders will also need to set up an account on CivicSource prior to the auction:

3. Attached is a list of properties that are currently still in our Tax Sale (Case No. SN-2024-CV-000176). The auction list is subject to change as properties are redeemed. You can check for updates to the list by checking our website at: https://www.snco.gov/counselor/tax_sale.php
4. Please note, if you have delinquent taxes, you will not be allowed to bid in this sale. Pursuant to K.S.A. 79-2812, "no person shall be eligible to purchase real estate at any delinquent tax sale...if such person is the record owner of real estate upon which there are delinquent taxes of a general ad valorem tax nature or delinquent special assessments in existence as reflected by the records of the county treasurer."
5. Payment must be made by wire or ACH via the CivicSource checkout website, in full by 4:45 PM the day of the auction. Every property will be assessed a fee of $38.00 on top of the purchase price to cover the cost of recording the deed.
