Cook said that during his time as a commissioner, he has overseen improvements to the county's roads and bridges and renovations to its parks and community centers.
He noted that he has played a key role in the county's having increasing its cash reserves without raising its property tax mill level.
"While there is much that has been accomplished, there is more that remains to be achieved," Cook said. "I look forward to being a continuing part of the renewal of Shawnee County for the next four years."
