Dr. Fauci Must Deliver Answers on Covid-19 to the American People. Over one million Americans died from Covid-19, marking one of the darkest chapters in our nation's history. Four years later, more than 10 million Americans are still suffering from long-Covid. This week, Dr. Fauci testified before Congress and doubled down, refusing to take accountability for his role in the risky Gain-of-Function research conducted at the Wuhan Institute of Virology that shows a preponderance of evidence was leaked and caused the Covid-19 pandemic. In his role as chief medical adviser to the president, Dr. Anthony Fauci insisted upon mask and vaccine mandates, lockdowns, and overstated vaccine efficacy, often disregarding the public's and private medical professional's ability to assess the facts. I published an op-ed in The Epoch Times demanding Dr. Fauci to answer numerous unsolved Covid-19 questions. You may click HERE or on the image below to read my full op-ed. Additionally, I took to the Senate Floor to advocate for the immediate consideration of our legislation, the Viral Gain-of-Function Research Moratorium Act. Gain-of-function research, which involves testing and creating viruses to collect data on pathogenicity or transmissibility, poses a significant threat. These viruses, due to their dangerous nature, can escape even the most secure labs, potentially causing severe harm. Our legislation calls for the immediate halt of dangerous gain-of-function (GOF) research and acknowledges that the Covid-19 virus is very likely the product of GOF research financed by the U.S. government and conducted in Wuhan, China. Eisenhower, the D-Day operation united land, air, and sea forces on the beaches of Normandy, leading to France's liberation and the Allied victory in World War II. Eisenhower's leadership was invaluable, laying the groundwork for the peace he championed throughout his life. My father's uncles, Bruce and Denby Marshall, fought in Normandy on D-Day alongside thousands of other fathers, brothers, uncles, and sons that day who risked their lives to protect America. This week in the Senate, we passed a resolution honoring the 80th Anniversary of D-Day. The resolution commemorates this historic operation and expresses gratitude to the U.S. Armed Forces and Allied troops for their decisive role in securing victory in Europe. Let us always remember the sacrifices and stories of those who served. You may click HERE to read the full resolution. Securing Audit from USPS to Address Mail Delivery Delays in Kansas City Area The Kansas-Missouri USPS region has some of the lowest performance data of any region across the entire USPS. Kansans are experiencing significant mail delays, affecting seniors who need prescriptions, causing missed bill payments, and hindering small businesses from fulfilling orders. Timely mail delivery is essential for our communities. As soon as we heard about this problem, we immediately sprang into action- demanding answers for the mail delivery failures. We led several attempts with multiple letters and requests for investigations to understand the causes for continued interruptions and delays in mail delivery in the Kansas City region. We also questioned the United States Postal Service Postmaster General on Kansas City mail delays, seeking answers in a congressional hearing in March. Following multiple efforts to address this issue, The USPS announced this week that it will audit the mail services at three USPS locations in the KC Metro Area and evaluate the efficiency of operations at the processing and distribution center. This audit will give Kansans much-needed answers, and I expect full transparency from the USPS throughout this process. We are committed to delivering results and fighting for quick solutions to alleviate the headaches people face when going to their local post office. We will work diligently to ensure these issues are resolved. |
