I'm just a Neanderthal man that can relate to the baby more than anything.

A friend of mine is a new mother and is breast feeding her child. She was fired today and the employer said it was due to issues and a baby's feeding. In Kansas all you have to say is "your services are no longer needed" we are a right to work state. This is a business owned by a women.
I can't think of anything more natural than a baby suckling. Except the act of making the baby. I can't think of anything more unnatural than another women firing a mom for feeding the a newborn.
What a shame.
Kansas Breastfeeding Laws. In Kansas, mothers have the right to breastfeed in any public or private location they are legally allowed to be. The federal Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) offers some workplace protection for breastfeeding employees, but there are no Kansas state laws beyond this.Oct 10, 2018
